Sydney legends THE HOLIDAYS jump back onto the stage tomorrow, 27 May, at Oxford Art Factory to celebrate the release of their new single "Golden Sky." The boys have been putting the finishing touches on their debut album so expect plenty of new tunes to be played on the night. To sweeten the deal ERNEST ELLIS and THE JOYSTICKS are supporting. So brave the cold weather and go see some great music at a great venue.
One of our favorite bands is SHIHAD. In August this year SHIHAD will perform their albums THE GENERAL ELECTRIC and KILLJOY over two iconic shows in both Melbourne & Sydney. The KILLJOY and THE GENERAL ELECTRIC landmark shows will be followed by the release of SHIHADS yet untitled 8th studio album in September through Roadrunner Records. 
We seem to give props to Future Classic pretty regularly but that's only because they keep putting on great events. This time around they are bringing out New York disco legend Jacques Renault. Renault is signed to the uber - cool DFA Records and has remixed Moby, LCD Soundsystem, Chairlift, Lost Valentinos and Canyons. The party goes down 29 May at The Civic with Andy Webb (Disco Delicious/Death Strobe) and Future Classic DJ's providing the support.
One of the breakthrough acts of 2010 has to be TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB. The lads are headed to our shores for Splendour In The Grass and are playing some extra special sideshows along the way. So great has the demand been for tickets that their show at Oxford Art Factory on August 2, has been upgraded to Manning Bar at Sydney Uni. Tickets from the OAF show are still valid however extra tickets are on sale now from Moshtix. Get in quick before you miss out.

One of our favorite bands here at Sydney Acid Test, Midnight Juggernauts, have just announced a new tour in support of their soon to be released second album, The Crystal Axis. The tour runs throughout August and takes in most major cities.
