From 2pm this Saturday a giant free party is happening on Cockatoo Island in honor of Arthur Russell. Arthur Russell was one of the great disco pioneers of the New York scene. A composer, and all around amazing guy! As part of the party there will be a screening of a wonderful new audio documentary about Russell; "Tapes of thought" by John Connell.
